PARTICIPATION RULES

2. Guide for the elaboration of abstracts
The abstract must be:

Complete (gathering all the substantial aspects of the research work),

Concise (non redundant, nor with accessory elements),
-
Informative (non evaluative) and precise (not adding anything that is not in the paper presentation). Font Times New Roman 12, single space.
The elements that the abstract must contain are:

The research problem or subject investigated
-
The method with its respective sections (i.e., participants, materials, procedures)
-
The most important findings of the study
-
The most relevant conclusions
3. GUIDE FOR THE ELABORATION OF SYNOPSIS:
Font Times New Roman 12, simple space, in large letter size paper, with 2.5 cm. margins. We recommend the authors to consult the APA writing and referncing style
For empirical contributions, the synopsis must include:
For theoretical contributions, the synopsis must include:

Rationale
-
Definition of the problem
-
Argumentation in favor and against discussed positions

Conclusion and statement of a position for the solution of the problem
4. EVALUATION CRITERIA
Contributions will be evaluated in a double blind scheme, by at least two judges, based on the following criteria:

Relevance and pertinence in relation to the selected thematic line
-
Originality of the proposal
-
Rigoro of the empirical study or the theoretical essay
-
Contribution to the challenges posed for the agenda in educational research and innovation in the ‘Society of Knowledge’.
The ruling can be of ‘Acceptance’, ‘Acceptance with change of modality’, and ‘Not accepted’.
5. PUBLICATIONS
Contributions accepted in any modality will be notified on 15th August 2007. Authors will be required:

A full paper contribution for its publication in CD, with a maximum of 7000 words including references (except for the modality of poster, in which case it will be optional), according to the APA criteria. The deadline for the submission of the full paper contribution will be the 15th September 2007.

A curricular profile of 250 words of the author(s), written in third person.
The best contributions will be published in a book or journal with international referees.
6. REGISTRATION (Registration)
For the presentation in the conference of any of the forms of participation described here, it is necessary that at least one of the authors of each contribution is registered in the Conference and that s/he has made the payment of the registration fee.
