The thematic lines for the Conference are related to the proposal of empirical and theoretical contributions in relation to the innovation and use of educational ICT in diverse fields:

I. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS AS COMMUNITIES OF LEARNING AND EDUCATIONAL PRACTICE
How do educational institutions organize themselves for the construction of knowledge, as well as to design and to test in different scenarios new organizational and administrative models that allow them to increase their effectiveness and efficiency? These innovative forms of organization can be carried out with on-site strategies, but also mediated by ICT.

II. TRAINING MODELS IN THE SOCIETY OF KNOWLEDGE

What training models have resulted from the conformation of the ‘Society of Knowledge’ and of the extensive use of ICT that respond to the challenge of a greater link between the educational, the labor and the recreational spheres of activity, for the formation of governmental officials, teachers, employees, and society in general?

III. UNIVERSAL ACCESS TO EDUCATION MEDIATED BY ICT AND OTHER INNOVATIVE MODELS

How to use ICT and other innovative models to promote the coverage, equity and access to education in the ‘Society of Knowledge’?

Which are the challenges and the innovative models of these educational modalities in the ‘Society of knowledge’?

V. THE CONSTRUCTION AND EVALUATION OF DISCIPLINARY KNOWLEDGE IN MULTIMODAL ENVIRONMENTS

How is constructed and evaluated multimodal curricular knowledge in classrooms when the didactic means that are traditionally used are complemented with digital didactic and other innovative materials, taking into account the challenges and necessities of all type of students in integrated environments, including students with special needs?

VI. ORGANIZATION AND OPERATION OF NETWORKS IN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS

Which are the models of organization and network operation with the current educational aims and/or based on ICT mediated environments conformed by professors, students, parents and educational institutions?
